Thoughts on Yuuki Yuuna, Inou-Battle, Denki-gai, Trinity Seven and Girl Friend BETA

Okay, so I’ve had my taste of other series that we haven’t posted on Deremoe before, and as with what the title of this post says, I’m going to talk short about Yuuki Yuuna is a Hero., Inou-Battle within Everyday Life, Denki-gai no Honya-san, Trinity Seven and Girl Friend BETA. As with any post that you see under my name, I focus more on the voice cast than anything else, unless the series is an utter piece of … you know.

Yuuki Yuuna is a Hero.

I’d like to commend the animation guys for actually copying a source code from some Chrome Experiment to be used as background for an Animation. My pseudo-coder sense is applauding them for re-using the code instead of copying it from your own website.

Moving on, this series deals with the Hero Club wherein Yuuki Yuuna becomes a hero through the blessing of some supernatural entity that may have resembled Nanoha’s Time-Space Administration Bureau. The thing is, Yuuna looks like Madoka at one side, and we have a blue Homura voiced by Umi Sonoda. Did I mentioned that Yuuna is Haruka Terui’s second lead role, next to Kobeni? One more thing: This is the second time that I will hear Tomoyo Kurosawa’s voice — the first being Black Bullet‘s Tina Sprout.

I’ve enjoyed the series so far because of how it mixed technology with a zen-like natural environment; that piqued my interest since Japan is notable for mixing technology with nature. What will happen in future episodes is something I will not expect too much. I don’t feel the opening and the ending theme songs, so I do tend to skip it.

Inou-Battle within Everyday Life

Is this Chuunibyou, part 3? No. I believe I was only watching this for Saori Hayami’s healing voice, but I might have stayed for something else. Also, let’s talk about Chifuyu, which is actually Wake up, Girls!‘ Nanami Yamashita’s first lead role out of the WUG franchise (according to her records on the ANN Encyclopedia).

Denki-gai no Honya-san

Yoshitsugu Matsuoka. Ayana Taketatsu. Ryota Oosaka. The rest are either names that I’ve been introduced for the first time or I just need to research on the rest of them.

Okay, let’s go with the lead girl Hiotan voiced by Natsumi Takamori — wait, she’s Kamiigusa and Misaki Mei as well. Oh. Let’s go to another one; Kameki is voiced by Mai Aizawa, which is also Uryu Minene in Mirai Nikki (oh goodness that must be shmexy). Minami Tsuda also has another role in Amagi Brilliant Park aside from her current role in this series as Sensei. This must be Takahiro Tomita’s first big break then.

Trinity Seven

Speaking of TsuguTsugu, he’s been set again for a lecherous character by the name of Arata. With him is yet another all-star cast completing yet another harem series that I will surely watch because it has been set in stone that I will be the resident sh*t-tier reviewer for this humble website.

Girl Friend BETA

Next to I Can’t Understand What My Husband is Saying, this deserves my two thumbs up. This has been the juciest slice-of-life (if it is slice-of-life) that I’ve ever seen next to Super Sonico the Animation, boasting of an all-star voice cast.

Also, I love Chloe — she reminds me of Karen Kujo.

As with every season, I hope you enjoy all of the offerings this Fall 2014. We are certainly looking forward for a good time.
